Greetings sorors!

Chapter committees are busy preparing for the start of a new Sorority year.  Local, regional, and national committees are aligning initiatives based on priorities as defined by our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.   There are several trends in our newsfeed that require our attention.  As a chapter member find your focus and passion for this year and press in and get connected.  The chapter calendar is growing.  If you are a visiting soror or community member, monitor the chapter website and social media sites for events and activities. 

 

The chapter leaders have received internal development on workflows and tools to execute efficiently and effectively.  My motto for this Sorority year is “The exhibition of Excellence creates a complete circle.” This motto can be applied to how we execute the business of Delta and our personal lives.  Be intentional about your pursuit of excellence.

 

Youth leaders and volunteers are getting trained and prepared to facilitate another year of programming.  There are over 60 youth participants within the Vipepeo, Betty Shabazz Delta Academy, and GEMS programs.  The Rites of Passage/Jabberwock program has 14 young ladies who will take the 6 month journey to womanhood.
